For anyone who wants to be well covered while travelling – whether by camper, on road trips, weekend getaways or longer tours. Travel protection can be taken out by any traveller before and during the trip, within Germany and abroad.

No. You can take out travel protection online directly, even without a VanSite account, a VanSite annual pass or an active booking.

Your contract is concluded with Deutsche Schutzbriefgesellschaft mbH (DSG), Am Lenkwerk 5, 33609 Bielefeld.

VanSite arranges the offer as a cooperation partner and receives a fee for doing so, but is not itself the provider and does not handle support.

Once the free trial period ends, travel protection runs for a term of 12 months each time.

During the free trial period you can cancel travel protection any time, simply by phone or email, so the cover ends after the trial.

Once the trial period ends, you can cancel the contract with 1 month's notice to the end of the contract term. Otherwise the contract renews for another 12 months each time.

You book travel protection directly through the travel protection form on this page. We pass your details on to our partner Deutsche Schutzbriefgesellschaft (DSG) for the booking. Once the booking has been processed, you'll receive a welcome package with all the information and a protection certificate.
