VanSite Annual Pass

Our pitches are run by welcoming private hosts who want to share their nature-rich plots with campers and give their guests a warm welcome.

Hosts usually offer no more than 3 pitches, so you're well away from mass tourism.

Many of our pitches also give you sanitary facilities like a toilet and shower, or the option of a fresh water and power supply. You can filter by these and plenty of other criteria when you search for a pitch. Dogs are welcome at 80% of the sites too.

The annual pass costs 249 € as standard. You pay this for the first 12-month term. After that the pass renews automatically for another year each time, and you can cancel any time with 1 month's notice before the term ends.

If you like camping spontaneously or without a lot of planning, owning an annual pass pays off. You'll save time and money on your holiday after just a few nights a year.

Some pitches (20%) carry the "PLUS" label. These are higher-priced pitches that aren't included in the annual pass.

As an annual pass customer, though, you get 50% off the overnight cost of PLUS pitches.

The VanSite annual pass is linked to your free personal VanSite account and your vehicle. That way you can book conveniently through the website or the free app while you're on the road, so you can travel to your dream camping spot paper-free and relaxed.

Your VanSite annual pass is tied to you and your registered vehicle. Because camping is often even nicer when you share it, you can bring one more person along, and at dog-friendly sites (about 80% of all sites) your four-legged friend too.

The VanSite annual pass is valid for 12 months (365 days) from activation.

The number of bookings you can make with the annual pass isn't limited. But to make sure all of our annual pass holders get fair access to our pitches, we've set up a few rules. They're there to prevent misuse of the system and let everyone make the most of their camping experiences:

• Future bookings:

You can have up to 4 future bookings at the same time. This rule helps us keep pitches widely available for everyone.

• No-shows:

We know plans can change. That's why we allow up to 3 no-shows within a year. We do ask, though, that you cancel a booking in advance if you can't make it to the pitch you booked.

• Maximum length of stay (per booking)

To stop individual listings from being booked up far in advance by single users, the maximum number of nights per booking is limited to three.

• Water and power use:

Water and power use has to be paid for separately and is not included in the annual pass.

• Use of sanitary facilities

Using sanitary facilities like the toilet or shower has to be paid for separately and isn't included in the annual pass.

• Bookings with the same host:

To keep things fair, we limit the number of bookings with the same host to a maximum of 7 within 365 days.

The annual pass benefits world brings annual pass holders exclusive discounts and perks from our camping partners.

That can mean discounts on camping gear, like a grill, tableware, a dry toilet or a sun sail, or deals on toll boxes and insurance.
